Counts every lot from 4 sources (hibid, purple_wave, gsa_auctions, municibid) that finished bidding between 2026-05-11 and 2026-05-18, bucketed in America/New_York. A lot counts as sold when it closed with at least one recorded bid and a closing price above zero. No source we track publishes a settled-or-paid flag, so this is a bid-based measure, not a settlement one. These four sources are used because they have reported bid counts throughout. Sources that report no bid count, or whose listed price is an opening or reserve price rather than a hammer price, are excluded entirely rather than counted as unsold. A category shows a median only when at least 100 of its lots sold and at least 60% of its closed lots carry a price.
